HORSE DRAWN BARGE TRIP
The Circle took to the water again
for our annual summer outing with another barge trip on the Kennet and
Bonny, our eco friendly, one horse
power means of energy lead us gently downstream from Kintbury.
Despite the forecast, the weather
remained fair and some members even took the opportunity of a stroll along the
towpath.
As well as plenty of good
conversation there was a pleasant occasion when a small presentation was made
to Chris for her three and a half years as Convenor and also for agreeing to
take over from Dorothy as Treasurer – the role which Dorothy has held ever
since the very beginning of the Circle!
